What is Hypnosis, and how does it work?
Hypnotherapy
uses deep physical and mental relaxation, allowing for direct communication with the subconscious mind. The subconcious
is the home of your emotions, as well as the control center for your body. You do not feel stress or pleasure or pain
unless your subconcious creates these emotions and feelings. Having access to your subconcious gives you the ability
to regulate stress, fear and anxiety. You can change your behaviors, and excel within yourself. When given a new
suggestion that is within the bounds of a person's belief system and moral orientation, the subconcious mind accepts the suggestion
literally as new reality. Both the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association have approved
hypnotherapy for use by professionally responsible and trained individuals. The British Medical Association and the American
Medical Association also adopted hypnosis as a viable tool in 1958.
